About Us

Our top priorities are the satisfaction of our visitor and providing displays and exhibits they will remember
OUR MISSION It shall be the purpose and objective of this assoiation to do all in its power to collect all the available historical material connected with or associated with the history of Hocking County, are fully to preserve the same. It shall also be the purpose of this association to collect, preserve and diffuse such information as may be available in the field of genealogy connected with the above county. The above named objectives shall include the collection of historical relics, museum materials, copies of local letters and other materials of such nature. This shall mean ultimately the writing of the history of the county from beginning. .
DONATIONS The HCHGS&M accepts tangible objects which relate to history of the County. If you have items that are historically sigificant, please feel free to contact the Museum about donating them. In addition to items donations, as a non-profit organization we relay upon our patrons to volunteer in our facilities and help with fundraising events which support our mission. We have a great group of supporterd and volunteers who care about preserving the past of our historic county, but more voulunteers are always needed and welcome. If you are interested in supporting our mission through a donation, volunteering or helping in any way, you can contact us on the contract page. ’
